Natasha MacDonald

Natasha MacDonald is an Inuk researcher, consultant, and Vice-President of Heritage Lab, where she provides strategic, governance, and operational leadership for Inuit-led AI and language technology initiatives. Her work focuses on decolonizing systems to support the preservation and revitalization of Inuit language and culture through the integration of Inuit knowledge, technology, and community-led innovation. Drawing on expertise in research, education, and policy development, she works at the intersection of traditional knowledge, digital sovereignty, and emerging technologies to advance Inuit self-determination in education and language technology.
